PURPOSE:To improve the picture data transmission speed from a host computer to a color printer by continuously and synchronously transmitting picture data by one-line without checking the busy state of the color printer at every data when the printer is not busy. CONSTITUTION:A control section 6 judges a BUSY signal from a printer and if the printer is not busy, transmits the picture data by one line to the printer. Picture data read out from a picture memory section 1 in accordance with a memory address generated from a read address counter 2 are latched by a latch circuit section 3 by means of a latch clock from an LCK generating section 4. A DSTB signal released from DSTB signal masking by means of a MASK signal from the control section 6 is outputted to the printer and picture data are transmitted. Since the data by one line are synchronously transmitted without checking the busy state of the printer at every data in such a manner, picture data can be transmitted to the printer at a high speed. |
