PURPOSE:To simplify a structure and accelerate a diagnosis by rearranging the cause, the diagnosis of the abnormal position, and the result based on the state data in a data storing means for the diagnosis request, and outputting them on a display device starting from the those with higher reliability. CONSTITUTION:A data input means 102 receives the state data (a) from a diag nostic object 101 and sends the state data (b) to a storing means 103 and an abnormality monitoring means 104. When the means 104 detects an abnormality from the data (b), it sends a diagnosis request (d) to a general inferring system 105. The system 105 selects special knowledge inferring systems 107a-107n based on the request (d) and the means 103 and outputs and activates diagnosis requests f1-fn. When the system 107 receives the request, it performs inference based on the means 103 and the data (c), it calculates the confidence on the results, and it outputs the results to a display means 106 starting from those with higher reliability. The diagnosis can be accelerated without complicating the structure. |
