<p>PURPOSE:To count the number of humans passing the passage based on the picture photographed with a camera by extracting the picture of humans from the picture data photographed with the camera. CONSTITUTION:The picture data is inputted by the time division in order of the cameras A to D in a control part 22, which is composed of a micro-computer and fetches the picture data successively from each camera, detects traveling objects from the picture data and judges whether the traveling objects are humans or not. If they are humans, it judges the discrimination of the entering the store and the leaving the store from the moving direction and adds the number of each storage area. This countering result is processed by a multiple screen control part 23 and is displayed on a monitor and is outputted to a computer via an interface 24. Thus, the number of humans passing the passage based on the picture photographed with the camera mounted on the passage can be counted based on the picture photographed with the camera.</p> |
