PURPOSE:To increase the degree of freedom as device and yield an acknowledging device at a low cost by counting the output of a zero intersection interval classifying means at certain intervals and for each classification criterion, and using the classification count value for each time as the characteristic parameter. CONSTITUTION:The interval between zero intersections in a voice waveform is measured by a zero intersection interval measuring circuit 3, and judgement is made to know where the interval between zero intersections becomes identical in a plurality of specified interval ranges. The output of the interval range made identical is turned logical 1, and thereby the output of each interval range of a zero intersection classifying circuit 4 which classifies zero intersection intervals is counted (5) within each specified period of time. The count value of a plurality of specified interval ranges thus counted is temporarily stored (6) one by one on the time-series basis at certain specified times. Thereby the degree of freedom as device is heightened, and an acknowledging device is achieved at a low cost. |
