PURPOSE:To enable a user to find which tune is the best to be erased among the tunes considered as unnecessary by the user, by furnishing a memory means which can read and write the play information for a plurality of tunes, and installing a display means which displays the amount of memory use tune by tune relative to the memory capacity. CONSTITUTION:A floppy disk 2a as memory means is inserted in a floppy disk unit 2 followed by necessary setting, and therein for example the event data corresponding to 16 channels is recorded as play information for 16 channels, which can be reproduced as desired. The amount of memory use X for each tune is computed and displayed on a liquid crystal display part 3 together with the name of tune. In case a new tune can no more be entered, the user can know which tune shall be the best erased while watching the amounts of memory use for different tunes which are given in the liquid crystal display part 3. This eliminates such inconvenience as erasing too many tunes with less amount of memory use, to permit the memory of floppy disk 2a to be utilized effectively. |
