PURPOSE:To improve durability and electrostatic chargeability by preparing core particles having positive or negative charges in an aq. medium, heating and melt-sticking fine particles having electric charges contrary to those of the core particles to the surfaces of the core particles. CONSTITUTION:Core particles of low mol. wt. resin having positive or negative charges in an aq. medium are prepd. and fine particles of high mol.wt. resin having electric charges contrary to those of the core particles in the aq. medium are heated and melt-stuck to the surfaces of the core particles. Since the core particles and the fine particles have electric charges of opposite polarities in the aq. medium, when they are mixed and dispersed in the medium, the fine particles stick electrically to the surfaces of the core particles and tight sticking is attained by carrying out melt sticking in the electrically sticking state. Since the core particles electrically repel each other, aggregation is not caused. Durability and electrostatic chargeability are improved. |
