PURPOSE:To exactly prevent damage to and abrasion of printing wires and armatures by driving the printing wires supported elastically on a frame by means of the armatures through a synthetic resin elastic material piece. CONSTITUTION:Armatures 4 are supported on an armature holder 3 in such a way as to be rotationally driven by a solenoid 2, and a synthetic resin elastic material 5 with elastic pieces 5c by which the armatures 4 are always driven toward the solenoid 2 is fixed to the frame 6 with the bases 5a. The U-shaped basal ends 7a of plural L-shaped printing wires 7 are fitted into the fixed recessions 6a of the frame 6 and the basal ends 7c are elastically fitted into the grooves 5c of the elastic material 5. The wires 7 are driven forwards through the pieces 5d of the material 5 by the rotation of the corresponding armatures 4 and printing is made. The needs for brazing the wires 7 can be eliminated and the structure of the head can be simplified. Also, damage to and abrasion of the wires and the armatures can exactly prevented. |
