PURPOSE:To enable a polishing material to be selected in responce to a concerning process while keeping the same tool to be mounted on a polishing device by allowing plural blocks to each of which end surface the polishing material is attached to be successively immersed in the axial direction and the end surface of any of the blocks to be projected. CONSTITUTION:Since the first set of blocks 11, 14 is extremely projected in an initial state, polishing is, if it is done, accomplished with the roughness of a polishing material mounted on the blocks 11, 14. Then, when a block height adjusting screw 20 is turned, the blocks 11, 14 are axially moved, and when the amount of the movement exceeds the difference of projection heights between the blocks 11, 14 and the second set of the blocks 12, 15, the blocks 12, 15 appear on the tool end surface, enabling the polishing to be performed by other polishing material mounted. Further, when the screw 20 is turned, the step part of the block 11 presses the step part of the block 12 to cause the block 12 to be pressed down, and thereby the third set of blocks 13, 16 is relatively lifted to permit the polishing material mounted on the blocks 13, 16 to be supplied onto the tool end surface, enabling several kinds of processes to be performed while keeping the tool to be attached. |
