The invention relates to a tool for mixing and diluting accumulated matter clogging up discharge cavities, particularly siphon traps. It consists of a fork having three prongs, the middle prong (1), which is the shortest, ending in a blade (2) whose horizontal cross-section is S-shaped, while the other two prongs (3) end in a lobe designed to protect the bottom and walls of the traps from the movements of the tool; for hand use it is provided with a vertical handle (5) and for mechanical use it is connected to a transmission shaft (7). The tool according to the invention will be of use in the maintenance of drainage systems. <IMAGE>
