<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the reading of magnetic stripes by providing only wiring on a part disposed under the magnetic stripes of a substrate. CONSTITUTION:An IC card is provided with a frame 6. In a space formed by the frame 6, a substrate 7 formed by mounting various electronic parts thereon is provided. On the substrate 7, a wiring 14 is printed for electrically connecting the various electronic parts with each other. The IC card is constructed by bonding the frame 6 with an outer plate. The both are bonded so that IC chips 8 and an LCD 9 on the substrate 7 coincide with an opening part 4 and a window 5 of the outer plate. At this time, magnetic stripes (referred as MS from now on) 2 provided on the outer plate 1 exist on a position shown by a broken line on the substrate 7. Namely, no electronic parts exist under the MS 2 but the wiring 14 connecting the IC chips 8 to the LCD driver 10. Therefore, there is no possibility that irregularities may occur on the MS of the outer plate 1 when the frame 6 is bonded with the outer plate 1.</p> |
