PURPOSE:To enable paper sheet width to be adjusted accurately, by providing a cam which changes over paper sheet width, a pin which makes contact with the cam, a guide pin, a tensile spring, a cam rotating gear, and a gear driving member. CONSTITUTION:When a pulse motor 21 is driven by a necessary rotation angle based on the information of the size of a paper sheet, a cam 2 rotates through a gear 20 and a turning shaft 5. The cam 2 makes contact with a contact pin 12 fixed to the bottom part of a width adjusting board 3 and with a contact pin 13 fixed to the bottom part of a width adjusting board 4, and performs positioning of the width adjusting boards 3 and 4. The contact pins 12 and 13 move in long holes 18 and 19, respectively, while being tensed by a tensile spring 7 extended between guide pins 10 and 11. This allows to adjust paper sheet width exactly without any misalignment. |
