PURPOSE:To make the installation of the film concerned on a plastic bottle by heating for a short period of time possible and eliminate the development of looseness and separation of the film after its installation by a method wherein polyester film, which consists of dicarboxylic acid component unit mainly made of terephthalic acid and mixed diol component unit prepared by mixing ethylene glycol and specified compound in mol.%, is stretched by specified draw ratio. CONSTITUTION:Polyester films, which consists of dicarboxylic acid component mainly made of terephthalic acid and diol component made of 30-4mol.% of compound represented by the general formula and 70-96mol.% of ethylene glycol, is stretched at least uniaxially by the draw ratio of 120-800%. Thus, polyester- based shrink film having the heat shrinkage factor at 100 deg.C of 50% or more in one direction and 10% or less in the direction normal to said direction, is obtained. In the formula, R1 and R2 represent hydrogen atom or lower alcohols, R3 and R4 represent lower alkyl groups and (n) is a value of 0 or 1. |
