PURPOSE:To improve softness and resistance to thermal degradation by compounding a vinyl chloride resin with a thermally decomposing nonamine blowing agent and a cell-homogenizing agent comprising an acrylic resin. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin sol. in tetrahydrofuran and having an average degree of polymn. of 500-2000 is compounded with 0.5-10 pts.wt. thermally decomposing nonamine blowing agent (e.g. NaHCO3) having a mean particle size of 50mum or lower, 0.1-5 pts.wt. cell-homogenizing agent comprising an acrylic resin (e.g. a methyl methacrylate resin), and, according to requirements, 5-15 pts.wt. dusting agent (e.g. a vinyl chloride paste resin having an average degree of polymn. of 500-2000 and a mean particle size of 2mum or lower) and 30-200 pts.wt. plasticizer (e.g. dibutyl phthalate). |
