PURPOSE:To measure the moisture with a high accuracy, by perfectly emptying the sample box at every measuring time of moisture of the sample and correcting oscillating frequency of differential oscillator and then, measuring the moisture content of the sample maintaining said correcting condition. CONSTITUTION:The rotating belt 2 of the elevator main body 1 is rotated and grains are lifted by many bucket 3 and circulating operation is conducted. When the sample moisture detector 18 provided on the sample box 6 operates, the throwing in opening 4 and discharge opening 5 are shut by the switching shutter 7 and the box 5 is made empty. At this time, oscillation frequency of differential oscillator is corrected so as to accord said frequency with the oscillation frequency of the detector 18 and this condition is maintained. Next, the vibrator 17 operates and at the same time, the opening 4 is opened and then, the opening 4 is shut. Further, the grains are thrown in the box 6 from the opening 4 in the lifting process of the bucket 3 and the oscillation frequency of the detector 18 is varied and then, the moisture content is measured by the difference of frequency between the frequency of the detector 18 and that of the oscillator. After finishing the measurement of moisture, the opening 4 is shut and the opening 5 is opened and then, the grains are discharged by the action of the vibrator 17. |
