The present invention relates to a device for dispensing and metering products contained in a container (3). According to the invention this device comprises a slide valve system (11, 19) combined with a flap valve (7) for, in a first movement of the said system, uncovering a metering chamber (13) which communicates with the container by the opening (4) in the latter through which the flap valve (7) is placed, to allow the product to pass towards the metering chamber and, in a second movement which is the reverse of the first, for exerting a pressure on the product contained in this metering chamber (13), preventing the product from returning towards the container, the system then uncovering a passage (17) for removal of the product from the metering chamber outwards. The invention applies to the packaging of cosmetic products. <IMAGE>
