<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the clogging of a filter and to extend the life thereof, in the on-vehicle air purifier arranged to the rear tray of a car, by arranging the opposed electrode confronted with a discharge electrode so as to have an angle of inclination with respect to the perpendicular of the surface of the filter. CONSTITUTION:The opposed electrode 11 confronted with the discharge electrode 6 provided to the upper part of a filter 9 horizontally provided is mounted so as to have an angle theta of inclination with respect to the perpendicular 12 of the filter 9. Dust-containing air is sucked from a suction port 5 and dust is positively ionized between the discharge electrode 6 and the opposed electrode 11 and, since the filter 9 is negatively charged, the dust is electrically attracted to the filter 9. At this time, since the opposed electrode 11 has the angle thetaof inclination with respect to the perpendicular 12 of the filter 9, air flows along the surface of the opposed electrode 11 to be diffused and the opposed electrode 11 acts so that air is sucked in the filter 9 over a wide range to uniformly suck air.</p> |
