PURPOSE:To facilitate control over the applied amount of silicone oil by forming a porous fluors plastics coating film on the surface of a fixing roll. CONSTITUTION:Heat roll 11 is coated with fluors plastics, and inside of it infrared heater 12 generating heat is provided. This fluors plastics 15 is formed for example to a thickness of 50-10mum in thickness, to have pores of 0.2 - several mum pore sizes. This heat roller has silicone oil contained in pores of its porous material to form an oil film, which is consumed gradually, so that the need to pay attention to the thickness of the oil film will be elminated. Thus, the control over the amount of silicone oil application can be facilitated. |
