PURPOSE:To obtain a phosphazene oil, composed of a mixture of specific phosphonitrile ring compounds, having a low vapor pressure, a high dielectric constant and chemically stabilized characteristics, excellent in flame retardancy and useful as electrical insulating oils, power transmission oils, vacuum, oils, mold release agents, etc. CONSTITUTION:A flame retardant oil which is a mixture of phosphonitrile ring compounds having a molecular structure expressed by the formula (n is 3-15; R1 and R2 are aromatic compound derivative). The content of the compounds in which the number (n) of P=N bond units in the aforementioned compounds is 1-90% mol fraction based on the above-mentioned mixture and the content of the compounds in which (n) is 7 is >=1% expressed in terms of mol fraction in the mixture. |
