The invention relates to a device with which it is possible to treat arterial pathological lesions by the endovascular route. The invention, called a vascular endoprosthesis, consists of a helical spring (A) of spiral shape which applies a radial force on the vascular walls, and of a sheath (B) which holds the helical spring at a given diameter and ensures a distribution of the forces. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for treating arterial dissections and arterial aneurysms by the endovascular route. <IMAGE>
