The device is for use in a press. Power transmission elements are located between the top (2) and bottom (15) tool, to generate the power flux for the pressure pad. A positive- and/or non-positive mechanical device is located outside the tool, int he power flux between the transmission elements. These are for position-defined coupling of the elements during the drawing process. The device clamps the workpiece against the top tool. USE - Single-acting press for sheet metal.
