PURPOSE:To stably detect the surface of liquid with high accuracy, by providing the display section of liquid volume varying the pattern of width direction successively on turning belt interlocking with the float and reading the variation of said pattern without contacting. CONSTITUTION:The float 15 moves up and down following the surface of liquid of the tank 11 in the cylindrical case 12. A display section of liquid volume varying the pattern of width direction successively, is provided on the loop-shaped belt 16 and is turned in accordance with a vertical motion of the float 15. The display section of liquid volume provided on the light shielding belt 16 which is turned interlocking with the float 16, is successively read by plural photoelectric switches arranged in the width direction of the belt 16 without contacting and this is displayed as the surface of the liquid. |
