Special patterns are etched into the conductive layers (6, 5), each divided by insulation (9) into six segments, on two annular discs (1, 7). Between there so-called zebra-connector flexible rings (2, 4) of alternately conductive and insulating material are laid outside and inside an annular fixed core (3). To prevent short-circuits the segments of the discs (1, 7) to which connection wires (8, 10) are bonded are insulated e.g. by etching of part of the outer ring (2). USE/ADVANTAGE - With electronic circuits for high-voltage measurements, a coil with min. external field can be mfd. more easily than by conventional winding.
