<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a good quality picture by frame mode processing for the portion where no motion exists in the picture and by field mode processing for the picture where motion exists. CONSTITUTION:In the motion correcting mode, a switch 132 is switched to an ODD memory 120 side and a switch 156 is switched to a switch 152 side and a switch 134 is changed over for every field. And a motion detecting circuit 128 outputs the control signals for switch changeover based on the motion information of the picture and the switch 152 is changed over using picture elements as a unit. The same processes take place in the color difference signal processing side. Thus, data are outputted based on the frame mode for the picture portion, where there is no motion, and the two field picture data are used and data are outputted based on the field mode for the picture portion, where motion exists, and the picture is configured using the picture data from either one of the fields and the interpolation data obtained from the above, thus, a good quality picture is printed.</p> |
