PURPOSE:To rapidly examine adaptability of clinical utilization by combination of drugs exhibiting synenergic antimicrobial force by simple drug diffusion sensitivity- examining method in simple operation by jointly using specific plural antibiotic and specific medicine of cephalosporin based agent against multiple drug-resistant Staphylococcus. CONSTITUTION:When specific plural antibiotics, i. e., cephamycin based medicine (e.g. cefmetazole) or carbapenem based medicine (e.g. imipenem) are jointly used with a specific medicine (e.g. cefotiam, cefamandole, cefazolin, cephalothin or cefoperazone) or phosphomycin, etc., against multiple drug-resistant Staphylococcus, methicillin- resistant yellow Staphylococcus (MRSA), antimicrobial force of these medicines can be synergistically enhanced. Whether combination of these medicine capable of enhancing antimicrobial force against MRSA is suited for clinical utilization or not are examined by a simple plural medicine-containing disk unit for sensitive examination using agar flat sheet diffusion method. |
