NEW MATERIAL:A monoclonal antibody existing in core position of Pseudomonas aeruginosa lipopolysaccharide and existing in all of clinical separating strain belonging to Pseudomonas aeruginosa Honma serum type G and recognizing an antigen deciding group expressed by properties capable of carrying out cross reaction with part of serum type strain other than Pseudomonas Honma serum type G type without existing in G type O-antigen polysaccharide position. USE:A preventive and therapeutic agent for Pseudomonas aeruginosa infectious disease. PREPARATION:For example, a lymphocyte is separated from peripheral blood of health man having high antibody value to Pseudomonas aeruginosa and cultured in a culture medium containing dead Pseudomonas aeruginosa to sensitize lymphocyte and the sensitized lymphocyte is fused with hypoxanthine guanine phosphoribosyltransferase-deficient variant derived from human myeloma cell and Pseudomonas aeruginosa-specific antibody-producing strain is selected and subjected to cloning by a limiting dilution analysis and then cultured to provide the monoclonal antibody against Pseudomonas aeruginosa lipopolysaccharide.
