The hollow constructional component has concealed longitudinal cavities, or grooves inside to be accessed from outside to take panels etc. The longitudinal cavities run below the outside wall (2) of the component (1) form dividing chambers (5) which can be opened up at a preset groove (7) along the outside wall. Thus the wall edges form a groove (3) giving entry to the chamber round the bend line (8) of the component. Pref. the break groove is visibly let into the outside wall. Longitudinal profiles between the chambers and/or the component are of light metal or plastics.
