PURPOSE:To enable facsimile communication even when radio waves can not be received satisfactorily from the transmission side by transmitting data to a transmission part at transfer speed lower than transfer speed for transmitting facsimile data from a facsimile, providing a memory corresponding to the difference of the transfer speed, and decelerating the speed of transferring the facsimile data by radio waves. CONSTITUTION:When a call originating request is outputted from a facsimile 11, a baud rate set part 28 initially sets a parallel/serial conversion part 172 according to a signal 28a. At such a time, when it is instructed to set transfer speed low, the bit rate of the parallel/serial conversion part 172 is set at 1200bps as the second transfer speed or the like. The facsimile 11 starts transmitting data for one page at the first transfer speed and stores the data in a memory 18. The facsimile data stored in the memory 18 is immediately transmitted through a data processing 171 to the parallel/serial conversion part 172 and by passing through a MODEM 22, the data is transmitted from a transmission part 23 as radio waves at the second transfer speed. |
