NEW MATERIAL:A monoclonal antibody bound a human IL-2 receptor multiple chain having properties bound to the human interleukin-2 (IL-2) receptor multiple chain, inhibiting bond of human IL-2 to the human IL-2 receptor multiple chain and inhibition physiological activity of human IL-2. USE:An immune suppressing agent applicable for prevention of rejection in transplantation of an orgen and ther apeutic agent for autoimmune disease. PREPARATION:For example, a human cell highly expressing a multiple chain of human IL-2 receptor is administered into a Balb/c mouse to immunize the mouse and a spleen cell is fused with a mouse myeloma cell and the fused cell is cultured in a HAT medium to afford a hydridoma and the hydridoma is subjected to secreening to select a positive clone and the clone is subjected to cloning and then cultured by a limiting dilution method to provide the monoclonal antibody specific to a human IL-2-receptor.
