PURPOSE:To enable a dip switch to be easily set without causing damage to other electronic components even if the dip switch is provided in a narrow space to enhance a switch setting operation in efficiency by a method wherein a pawl which turns the switch lever of the dip switch ON of OFF is provided to the tip of a stick. CONSTITUTION:A pawl 12 bent at a certain angle is provided to the tip of a stick 11 whose circumferential surface is formed of insulating material, a bearing face 13 which presses down the switch lever 8 of a dip switch 5 and an engaging piece 14 which pulls the switch lever 8 inward engaging with it are provided to the tip of the pawl 12. When the switch lever 8 is pushed down, as the pawl 12 is inclined to the central axis of the stick 11 by a certain angle, the switch lever 8 can be pushed down avoiding the other electronic components mounted on a PC board. By this setup, even if a dip switch is arranged in a narrow space, a dip switch setting operation can be surely executed if there is a gap through which a stick can be put. |
