PURPOSE:To improve an affinity on a user interface by providing a name server which checks whether or not the name of the destination is changed by referring to a directory at the time of receiving a mail from a terminal equipment, and communicates the result that the name of the destination is changed to the terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:A name server 104 retrieves the information of a destination name change managing directory 103 while using the received name of the destination of a user Z as the key of a user name identifier or an O/R name indentifier, and when the name of the destination designated by a user X 101 is matched/with the name of the new destination on the destination name change managing directory 103, the transmission to the destination of a user Z 106 is operated as it is. When the name of the destination designated by the user X 101 is not matched with the name of the new destination, the name of the old destination and the name of the new destination are displayed on the screen of the the terminal of the user X 101, so that the changed content can be communicated. Thus, the user interface whose affinity is improved can be obtained by the user. |
