The fuel tank for motor vehicles which use an accelerator pump for the fuel flow. The suction port of the pump is located near the bottom of the fuel tank. An arrangement (12,13) is mounted over the pump, which catches any gas bubbles, or alternatively an arrangement (16) is used which reduces the size of the gas bubbles. ADVANTAGE - Elimination or redn. of noise by the gas bubbles.
