<p>PURPOSE:To easily represent the positions of divided areas by dividing an object of division into the divided areas in predetermined shapes and expanding an area to be divided to outside the border of the area at need. CONSTITUTION:When an area overlaps with the border of an image or the border of an area which is already divided, data regarding the border is sent to an image expansion part 103. The image expansion part 103 refers to an image memory part 102 according to the data, generates a virtual undivided area outside the border of the image or in the area which is already divided and therefore not an object area of division, and data on it is sent to a division determination part 101. The division determination part 101 carries on connecting operation while referring to the image memory 100 and virtual undivided areas. Consequently, the divisions of the whole image can be determined with a time series signal of the size of the divided areas.</p> |
