PURPOSE:To perform KANA (Japanese syllabary)-KANJI (Chinese character) conversion suitable for contents by displaying contents of documents to be prepared and selecting one of them an taking out and setting information such as format information corresponding to contents and the classification of a dictionary to be used from the part where these information are stored. CONSTITUTION:A selected screen out of processing select screens displayed at the time of or after power-on is displayed at the time of designating new documentation. In this case, it is selected in accordance with contents of a document to be prepared. That is, when KANA-KANJI conversion is requested at the time of selecting characters to prepare the document, in formation of 'proper noun dictionary' is first obtained, and a proper noun dictionary is searched to obtain corresponding characters. Thus, a dictionary for KANA- KANJI conversion is selected and learning information is set most suitably in accordance with contents of the document to be prepared, and correct candidates are more probably presented at the time of KANA-KANJI conversion. |
