PURPOSE:To rapidly decide a starting position when a continuously reproducible recording region except on an inner periphery is newly recorded by forming a plurality of recordable regions with recording regions formed continuously with a bit row of a reproduction only regions and forming at least one recordable region on the inner periphery. CONSTITUTION:A reproduction only region 1 has a bit row formed of an array of a plurality of types of bits 3 formed previously on a main surface of a substrate. A plurality of recordable regions 2 each has a recording region formed continuously with a bit row, and at least one recordable region 2 is formed on an inner periphery. Thus, it can be continuously reproduced, and if information is recorded on other recordable region 2, its record ending position can be recorded on the region 2 of the inner periphery, and hence if other recordable region 2 is further newly recorded, its record starting position can be rapidly decided. |
