PURPOSE:To make it possible to execute a part of the information processing of an external device in addition to an image forming function by selecting a 1st program for applying prescribed image forming processing to received image data or a 2nd program received from the external device and executing the processing operation of the selected program. CONSTITUTION:A selecting means 160 selects either one of the execution of processing based on the 1st program and that based on the 2nd program. A control means 741 applies processing operation based on the 1st program for executing the prescribed image forming processing or the 2nd program received from the external device 749 to received image data stored in a storage means 742 or 743 in accordance with the selected result. Consequently a part of the information processing of the external device 749 can be executed in addition to the image forming function. |
