The gripper is intended for technological cutting of modules. It is distinguished by the shortened travel of a driving wedge and linearly varying gripping force depending on the sheet material thickness. The gripper includes a support (1) with a stationary jaw (2) and guides (3), of a driving wedge (4) in which is located a roller, articulated to a movable jaw (11), situated towards the guide, fixed to the support (1). To the guides (3) is fixed a cantilever (8) with an adjusting nut (9) screwed to it, in the hole of which is located a guide (10), screwed in a support (1). A cylindrical spring(14) is fixed in the cavity, formed between the stationary jaw (2), the guide bush (12), pressed in the movable jaw (11) and bearing-mounted in the support (1), and the centring washer (13).
