Compositions comprise 100 parts by weight of an unsaturated ethylene/propylene/non-conjugated multiolefin terpolymer rubber, 0.1 to 1 part by weight of a tris-(alkylphenyl) phosphite in which the alkyl groups have 8 to 30 carbon atoms and 0.5 to 5 parts by weight of epoxidized soya bean oil or an epoxidized ester of a fatty acid having 10 to 30 carbon atoms and an alkanol having up to 10 carbon atoms, the amount of epoxide being 50 to 500% by weight of the phosphite. Many suitable monomers from which the terpolymers may be derived, and many suitable phosphites and epoxides are listed, and examples describe compositions comprising ethylene/propylene/dicyclopentadiene terpolymer rubbers, tris-(nonylphenyl)-phosphite, and (1) epoxidized soya bean oil, (2) octyl epoxystearate, and (3 and 4) epoxidized soya bean oil and benzene. |
