摘要 PURPOSE:To improve S/N ratio in a phase detection and to increase detecting accuracy of phase detecting pulses by having a plural number of the phase detecting pattern which is provided on a speed detecting pattern in addition to an respectively for a magnet pattern on a rotor side and a conductor pattern on a stator side, and differenciating all the intervals of the phase detecting patterns. CONSTITUTION:For both the magnet pattern 2a on the rotor side of a rotor 2 and the conductor pattern 3a on the stator side of a base board 3, the number of pieces of the phase detecting (PG) patterns which are provided on the respective speed detecting (FG) pattern is in plural numbers; and the intervals of these PG patterns are all differenciated. Consequently, the PG pattern in plural positions coincides with the magnet pattern 2a on the rotor side once in one revolution or once during a horizontal movement, and a large PG output is obtained. Also, since the intervals of the PG patterns are respectively all different, the PG output is kept low except at the coincided timing, and only the PG output for the purpose of the phase detection is largely outputted. Thus, the improvement of S/N ratio in the PG detection and the increase in detecting the accuracy of the PG pulses are attained.
