PURPOSE:To keep down to minimum the increase in the room cooling and room heating loads due to ventilation and at the same time prevent the diffusion of polluted air to individual rooms by providing an air conditioner with means of switching automatically the room cooling and room heating with ventilation and the room cooling and room heating with air cleaning according to the extent of pollution of the air in a room. CONSTITUTION:When polluted air should be discharged or fresh air be introduced. a drive section 12 is controlled by a control section 13 on the basis of the signal from a sensor 11 so that a damper 10 is opened or closed. The return air in a room which is sucked in from an air suction grill of each room is led to an air conditioner l and then to an air discharge fan 6 which is driven by a ventilation motor 5 and discharged to the outside after passing through a total heat exchanger 8. At the same time the outdoor air is led by a supply air fan 7 and passes through the total heat exchanger 8 and exchanges heat with the return air in the room and then led to an air fan 3 which is driven by a motor 2 and heated or cooled by a cold and warm water coil 4 and discharged to each room. For pollutant such as smoke by smoking it is led to the air conditioner 1 and then dust collection and deodoring are effected for it by an air cleaner 9. |
