PURPOSE:To allow this Japanese processing conversion inhibiting function to flexibly correspond to connection with various devices manufactured by different manufacturers by providing the conversion inhibiting function with a conversion inhibiting flag setting function and a hexadecimal inputting inhibition character table setting function and inhibiting the conversion of specified 'KANJI's (Chinese characters'). CONSTITUTION:The conversion inhibiting flag setting function 24 sets up 'KANJI's and phrases including 'KANJI's specified by a conversion inhibiting flag 21 for inhibiting conversion included in respective 'KANJI's and phrases belonging to a conversion dictionary 11 to be used at the time of converting input data into Japanese. The hexadecimal inputting inhibition character table setting function 25 sets up the specified 'KANJI's in a hexadecimal inputting inhibition character table 22 for storing the internal codes of conversion inhibiting characters in a 'KANJI' conversion table 16 to be used for converting 'KANJI' codes into hexadecimal inputs. Since the conversion of specified 'KANJI's is inhibited, the conversion inhibiting function can flexibly correspond to connection with various devices manufactured by different manufacturers. |
