PURPOSE:To obtain a novel and useful photo recording medium using a light storage material by forming a structure in which a layer containing a light absorbing material and a thermal sensitive layer near the layer are arranged. CONSTITUTION:A structure having a layer 200 containing a light absorbing material in which, when a light is absorbed, its molecular structure is varied and an original molecular structure is varied by reaction with a catalyst and reaction heat is generated when the molecular structure is returned to the original, and a thermal sensitive layer 400 arranged near the layer 200, is formed. After the layer 200 is irradiated with a light to record information, when a catalyst 300 is supplied to the layer 200, an information recorded part of the layer 200 generates heat, the information is transferred to the layer 400, and fixed to the layer 400. Thus, a useful photo recording medium using the material is obtained. |
