<p>PURPOSE:To prevent clogging of ceramic tubes for filtration and to improve product quality by rotating stirring blades provided in a dross removing chamber formed between a molten metal supplying hole and a filtrating chamber. CONSTITUTION:The filtration chamber 6 housing a filtrating unit 2 overriding several pieces of ceramic tubes 5 between right and left side plates 4, 3 and the dross removing chamber 17 between the filtration chamber and the molten metal supplying hole 7 thereof, are formed. At the part of the removing chamber 17 in a lid body 21 for a filtration vessel 1, several pieces of immersion pipe type heaters 24 hung down in the removing chamber 17 are provided with some distance from a center. On a rotary shaft 26 hung down a motor 25 provided on the lid body 21 at the center position of the heaters 24, stirring blades 27 are provided. The molten metal of Al, etc., supplied from the molten metal supplying hole 7 is poured into the removing chamber 17 and heated with the heater 24 and also stirred with the stirring blades 27, and as the upper surface thereof is raised up a little, dross floated up on the surface flows to the circumference thereof and is stored in a storing part 28. Further, gas incorporated in the molten metal is floated up with the above-mentioned stirring to vent gas.</p> |
