PURPOSE:To make circulating bathwater return at a pleasant temperature by a method wherein the temperature of returning bathwater and the temperature of outgoing bathwater are detected and, on the basis of the detected values, the rate of combustion at an additional-heating device or the flow rate of circulating water is controlled in such a manner as to keep the heated circulating bathwater delivered at a set temperature. CONSTITUTION:During heating, temperature 31, 32 detect respectively the temperature of the returning bathwater and the temperature of the outgoing bathwater; when the detection finds a deviation in the temperature of the outgoing bathwater from the temperature set therefor by an additional-heating switch A or B, a microcomputer control 13 calculates a combustion capacity and, by controlling a proportional control valve 18 for additional heating, executes an adjustment of the temperature of the outgoing bathwater to the set point and effects return of the circulating bathwater at the set temperature to the bath. Or by controlling the rotation of a pump 25 the flow rate of the circulating bathwater is changed to bring the temperature of the outgoing bathwater to the desired point. When a switch for 'lower temperature' is turned on, a water-level sensor 21 detects the level of the bathwater, a bubbling pump 25 is actuated, a hot-water valve 12 is opened, and the bathwater is made to circulate at a lower temperature with the circulating bathwater mixed with cold water injected; during the operation, the temperature sensors 31, 32 detect respectively the temperature of the returning bathwater and the temperature of the outgoing bathwater, the quantity of cold water to be injected is calculated, and, by controlling a flow-rate control device 34, circulating hot water is delivered at a set temperature to the bathtub. |
