A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material suitable for photomechanical process is disclosed. The light-sensitive material comprises a support and a silver halide emulsion layer and the emulsion layer or a layer adjacent to the emulsion layer contains a compound represented by formula 1, 2 or 3 and a compound represented by formula 4 or 5. <IMAGE> (1) <IMAGE> (2) <IMAGE> (3) <IMAGE> (4) <IMAGE> (5) The light-sensitive material give extreme high contrast images by processing usung a stable developer and is inhibited from producing pepper fog.
