<p>PURPOSE:To perform a dehumidification of molding resin easily with a low energy by a method wherein a dehumidifier having screen-like hollow thread bundle elements comprised of hollow thread membranes for separating gas in a gas drying chamber is organically connected to a heating and drying device having a resin drying chamber provided with a heater and a fan. CONSTITUTION:A hot air drying device has a pressure reducing chamber 11 connected to a pressure reducing device 10 and is comprised of a dehumidifier (a) having a gas drying chamber 13 storing multi-staged hollow thread bundle elements 12 and of a heating and drying device (b) having a resin drying chamber 22 with a heater 20 and a fan 21. Both of them are organically connected by a wetting gas conduit (c) and a drying gas conduit (d). Drying gas dehumidified by the dehumidifier (a) is fed into the heating and drying device (b) through a drying gas suction port 24, heated by a heater 20 and fed to a resin drying chamber 22 by a fan 21. Moisture content is evaporated and removed from resin pellets 23 and the wetting gas is fed out of a wetting gas taking-out port 23. Moisture content can be removed efficiently and at a low energy down to a low moisture content rate.</p> |
