PURPOSE:To hold back a driver from performing precipitous steering and enhance stability in running by detecting rotation speed of a steering wheel, and regulating action of a reactive force oil pressure means in response to the swiftness of the rotation speed with this detected output. CONSTITUTION:When a steering wheel 1 is turned, for example, to the left, a solenoid valve 6a is controlled by a program control circuit 7 and a left compensating vale 22a is moved to the right, thereby pressure oil from a pump 4a is sent to the oil pressure chamber (a) of an oil pressure auxiliary booster 5, and front wheels 9 are turned. And a part of the pressure oil is supplied directly to one side of the piston 210 of a reactive force oil pressure means 21, and at the same time, supplied also to the opposite side of the piston 210 passing through the valve 11 of an oil pressure circuit 13 and a right compensating valve 22b, and reactive force is given to the steering wheel 1, when a stepping motor 10 is controlled by the program control circuit 7 in accordance with the output of a rotation speed sensor 12 that detects the rotation speed of the steering wheel 1 so as to increase the abovementioned reactive force. |
