PURPOSE:To easily recognize an incoming call by a user and to catch a reception chance without fail by providing a reception announce device to announce the incoming call separately from the main body of the portable telephone, and generating an alarm tone according to the announce signal of incoming call detection transmitted by the radio part of the main body. CONSTITUTION:When a call is terminated to a main body 1 of the telephone, an incoming call detecting signal is transmitted from a radio part 5 for announce device and when a call incoming state is canceled or an off-hook operation is manually executed during three ringing tones, the transmission of the incoming call detecting signal is automatically stopped. Then, a reception announce device 2 receives the incoming call detecting signal, which is transmitted from the main body 1, by a radio part 21 and generates the alarm tone from an announce means 22. When the user executes manual off-hook to the main body 1, the transmission of the incoming call detecting signal is stopped. Thus, the user can easily recognize the incoming call and is prevented from losing the reception timing. |
