<p>PURPOSE:To execute the test of a police circuit even at the time of on-line by providing a specific control circuit for discriminating a normal answer of the police circuit. CONSTITUTION:To a selector 6, a cell is added by an ATM 2 and a test ceil generating means 5, and its cell is selected and outputted. For instance, at a regular time, the ATM 2 side is selected, and at the time of test, a test cell generated from the test cell generating means 5 is selected. A control circuit 7 is prodded in a police circuit 4, and at the time of test, a register which is not allocated to VPI/ VCI is allocated to the cell generated from the test cell generating means 5, and also, the test cell is generated from the test cell generating means 5, inputted to a police circuit 4 through the selector 6, and a normal answer of the police circuit 4 is discriminated. In such a way, even at the time of on-line, a test of the police circuit 4 is executed.</p> |
