PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform generation of retardation time by performing a specified unit recovery operation on a normalized retardation time T obtd. by a normalized retardation time table. CONSTITUTION:A unit recovery operation part 28 performs multiplication of a normalized retardation time T by f/C and addition of a specified const. K to the result of multiplication. The unit recovery operation part 28 is constituted of an f/C generator 40, a K generator 42, a multiplicator 44 multiplicating a retardation time T output from an interpolation treating part 26 by a value output from the f/C generator 40 and an adder 45 adding a const. K output from the K generator 42 and being different depending on the kind of a probe to the output of the multiplicator 44. Therefore, by performing this operation, a retardation time is successively output. |
