PURPOSE:To backup a load with minimum necessary capacity by feeding a power supply voltage from a backup power supply only to a low capacity section, without feeding power to the high capacity section of a power machine, at the time of emergency such as power interruption. CONSTITUTION:When voltage supply from a feeder line 4 to a facsimile is interrupted, a power interruption detection signal (a) is fed from a power interruption detecting circuit 7 to a control circuit 13. Consequently, movable contact 5a in a relay 5 is switched to the fixed contact 5c side while furthermore a booster circuit 9 and an inverter circuit 10 function to switch the feeder line 4 and a backup line 14 to each other. On the other hand, the control circuit 13 provides a power interruption alarm signal (b) to a control circuit on the facsimile side and thereby the control circuit on the facsimile side turns the power supply line to a thermal fixing unit OFF and turns only the power supply line to an image memory ON. |
